The State Council recently issued the \”Regulations on Fair Competition Review\” ( (hereinafter referred to as the \”Regulations\”). The \”Regulations\” consist of five chapters and 27 articles, which will come into effect on August 1, 2024.
The \”Regulations\” clarify that all policy measures shall not contain content that restricts or disguises restrictions on market access and exit, in order to promote fair market competition and optimize the business environment.
Judging from the past, although a number of policies to maintain fair competition market order have been introduced, many problems are still very prominent during the implementation process.
