17. Decoration budget that is easily overlooked: door covers. Chatting with a client who is currently under construction, he said that he has spent 120,000 so far. The overall budget said that the decoration budget is constantly being adjusted, and there is still some money that has not been paid out. I looked at his overall decoration plan budget table, which was very detailed, including: planned project expenses, actual project expenses, and paid project expenses.

But now many projects are still not completed according to the schedule, and the only way is to swipe credit cards. Recently, during the order negotiation process, many owners have overlooked one decoration budget issue: door frames. Most owners may think that door covers must be included in the door, but some owners often don\’t know that in addition to bedroom doors, there are many door and window covers that need to be packaged separately and are not included in the price of the door.

For example, if you have three bedroom doors, the bathroom does not use wooden doors, but color aluminum or alloy doors, and the kitchen uses sliding doors. Do you know how much your door and door frame will cost? Some careful owners will know it clearly beforehand, but there are also many owners who only ask how much a door costs. It is easy to fool the price of door covers and window covers, and the budget will often be exceeded during the final decoration.

Now assuming that the price of the door is 1,000 yuan per door (solid wood painted door), and the door cover is 100 yuan/meter, how much does it cost to simply calculate the door and window covers and doors of a three-bedroom house?

·One thousand for the first bedroom door is equal to about three thousand two. Single package door covers include: entrance door, bathroom door, living room, balcony sliding door, three to four window covers, totaling about 30 meters, one hundred equals three thousand yuan (bay windows are extra).

·The second double-pack door cover: the kitchen sliding door and bathroom dry area door cover are about 12 meters long, one hundred and twenty equals one thousand five hundred yuan.

·The third bay window costs 800 yuan a month. Generally, two minus three 800 equals about 2,000 yuan, totaling about 8,000 yuan. This is based on a mid-range price, and if you choose a brand that is large enough or made of solid wood or better, it will cost you more overall. If you want to save this cost, choose a paint-free door and save about half (based on the price of a painted door).

The door frame budget must be considered in the early stage of decoration.
