During early contact, the designer learned that this house was prepared by the owner and his wife for a weekend vacation, so they could abandon tradition in terms of technique and style. Try something a little off the beaten track. After reaching a consensus, the designer decided to use cement and iron to create this unique home! The entire indoor floor is made of pure cement mixed with black, making the space appear calm and tall. If the wall is completely made of cement, it will give people a particularly depressing feeling, so the designer added putty to the cement to create a relatively warm tone, which also breaks people\’s rigid impression of traditional industrial style.
In such a quiet space, the designer put some effort into the selection and color of furniture. The kitchen cabinets are all made of lake blue, which is quiet and elegant. Powerful; the delicate little collisions such as the golden sofa pillows and the rose-red leather stools have become the highlights of this calm space. The small contrasting colors also fully reflect the passionate yet calm character of the owner couple.
In terms of space decoration materials, iron art, steel plates, and organic glass are the most commonly used, but the techniques are diverse.For example, the bedroom door does not use conventional door wood, but is replaced with a folding wrought iron door. The white gauze adds a retro feel. The TV background wall is a whole piece of perforated steel plate that towers over the sky. From a practical point of view, it can be used as a stair handrail. In addition, it is also a partition shape that alternates between virtual and real, giving the entire space a fresh and lively feeling.
If the color style of the living room is more resolute, the bedroom is relatively softer. The overall color is apricot pink, which both men and women will find not exaggerated, very comfortable and warm. The designer included the balcony indoors as a dressing and leisure area. The mirror of the dressing table was equipped with linear light bars from top to floor, which expanded the visual effect of the entire space.
