Homemade solid wood door tutorial with details

Today I will share the production process of solid wood doors.

·The solid wood door is custom-made. When the door is received, it must be painted with wood paint first. Generally, one coat of primer is enough and two coats of topcoat.

·When installing the door, you need to use foam glue and nail-free glue to fix it. We installed it ourselves, and the installation fee for the master was 100 per set. I saved more than 1,000 on the installation fee for the 11 doors in my house.

·The door panels are made of straight fir wood panels. Measure the dimensions and let the merchant cut them. This is the reinforcing strip on the back of the door panel, which is the same thickness of two centimeters as the door panel. The door strips and door panels need to be fixed with special wood glue and an air nail gun. Once the door strips are fixed, they can be installed.

·Adjust the left and right gaps during installation, and the door and door frame are connected through hinges.

·Next to install the door lock, you need to use a hole reamer to drill the hole. It took almost two hours to install a door lock.

Choose a board with wooden knots, which looks very forest and natural. I remember that a knotless board is about 20 to 30 yuan more expensive. I have put the list at the end, friends who need it can save it for reference.
