For this reason, I only drilled two holes and installed two screws (there is one screw that is not easy to drill if it is flat). The door frame is very convenient, and it is more stable with three screws.

Pole The installation is very simple, the key is the installation and adjustment of the connector.

The shopkeeper told me that the connector should be horizontal and vertical so that it can be closed smoothly. I didn’t pay much attention to it at first. I always feel that as long as the connection position is correct and the connection is stable, it will be OK, but the problem keeps appearing after installation. The problem was that it couldn\’t be closed by a few centimeters. After a lot of fiddling, I completely disassembled it and started again. I finally figured out how to install it.

The first step is to roughly connect the two pieces of metal with screws. Lock it tightly and it will be loose enough not to fall off;

The second step is to close the door tightly and insert one end of the connector into the poleMetal end. At this time, because the connector has not been fixed, it is very easy;

The third step, since the left and right adjustment range of the metal sheet on the connector is relatively large, so after finding a similar position, first confirm the connection Pre-punch the approximate position of the metal sheet under the device, and then preliminarily fix the metal sheet below.

The fourth step is to try to find the most suitable position for the lower metal piece: the upper metal piece fits exactly on the pole. It is best that the place where it is set is not too tight up, down, left and right; at the same time, the two pieces are connected The metals of the connector are basically touching each other, and the lower metal piece is vertical and the upper metal piece is horizontal (the purpose of this is to make the connector easily meet the horizontal + vertical conditions after the screws are tightened).

The fifth step is to tighten each screw and test. If you find that the door is not closing smoothly, check whether the position of any component in the fourth and fifth steps is \”hardly broken\” to meet the requirements, and adjust it appropriately so that it is \”just right\” in the required position, and it is OK. .

Basically, the picture above is a failed example. Because I did not adjust according to the above steps, the door often failed to close tightly by 2 centimeters. My own analysis is that the position of the connector is achieved by \”hard-breaking\”, which gives the pole an \”extra\” pulling force, causing the last section of the pole to be too stressed on the side and have too much friction, so it cannot return to its position. After I readjusted it later, it is now very smooth.

I also make two suggestions here: First, metal gaskets should be provided in the accessories. Without gaskets, it is easy to cause the metal sheet to shift due to force when the screw is tightened (the two metal gaskets in the picture above) (I found the connector myself); secondly, the fixing screw between the two connectors is too long. If I had not used the thick gasket in the picture above, the protruding part (arrow on the left) after tightening the screw would be in contact with the right one. The plastic parts of the arrows push together, causing the door to be blocked.

The frame and installation method bring about a problem: if the pole size is not suitable, common sliding doors can be adjusted by moving the pole left and right on the door frame. However, my sliding door is difficult to adjust once the pole size is not suitable. The suspended pole will be held up by the door frame!

I followed the seller\’s request and told the seller that the door was 2000px wide, and the seller sent me a 2000px pole. As a result, my door frame could not adjust the position of the pole, and the door opening space on the right side was only 1875px, resulting in the rod not being able to reach the desired length after opening the door and unable to lock the door. It\’s just that the \”door touch\” function of opening the door and locking itself cannot be realized. After communicating with the seller for a long time, he realized that my door is special… I sent the pole back later, and the seller sent another 1875px one, which was perfect.

After knowing the reason, I used my brain and found a cylindrical foam piece at home and cut it. Suitable size, stick on the right side of the lower rail with double sided tape (As shown in the picture above).
