At noon that day, the reporter and several community residents took the community elevator from the third floor to the first floor. However, when the elevator dropped to the second floor, it suddenly stopped. The elevator opened immediately, and everyone found that they were facing is a wall.

Because no one dared to act rashly for fear of the elevator falling, the reporter called the emergency call bell in the elevator, but no one answered. Then a resident called the elevator maintenance company. While everyone was waiting for the staff to come to repair, a resident pressed the button on the third floor, and the elevator went up again and opened normally.

Although everyone came out safely, they were still in shock because similar elevator accidents had happened more than once in this community.

Twenty minutes after the accident, staff from the elevator maintenance company arrived at the scene to inspect the elevator.

The elevator is good and bad sometimes. Why is it not inspected regularly? What\’s even more puzzling is that when the elevator broke down and the reporter pressed the alarm in the elevator, why didn\’t the staff in the property management company\’s monitoring room arrive at the scene as soon as possible?

The security guard explained that there was a thread inside, and no one asked. There was no one in the control room, so it was useless to call. There were three security guards in total, and they had to take care of the door and the top. The garage, with so many cars to take care of, is too busy for two people.
