In the 20 years since its establishment, the Zhongshan Lock Industry Association has given full play to its platform advantages and role as a bridge, providing member companies with a series of high-quality services such as group exhibitions, standard formulation, quality testing, procurement exhibitions, and technical training, uniting It has led lock manufacturing enterprises to embark on a high-quality development path with distinctive characteristics, strong competitiveness and good market reputation. The number of member companies has also grown from the initial 38 to more than 180.

In recent years, Xiaolan\’s lock industry has successfully transformed from traditional fields to smart locks and smart security systems, achieving strategic transformation and expansion in high-tech emerging fields. Xiaolan Town has gradually developed and grown into \”China\’s Hardware Products Industrial Base\”, \”China Lock Export Base (Xiaolan, Guangdong)\” and \”China Intelligent Lock Industry Base\”.

In 2024, the Xiaolan Town smart lock industry cluster was selected as the 2024 small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industry cluster recognized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, further polishing the golden brand of Xiaolan locks. At present, there are more than 200 smart lock manufacturing companies in Xiaolan Town, more than 5,300 supporting companies, and the output value of the lock manufacturing industry exceeds 10 billion yuan. Among them, Xiaolan Town\’s lock export volume accounts for nearly 30% of the country\’s market share, making it one of China\’s important smart lock manufacturing integration centers. According to the Zhongshan Lock Industry Association, the output of smart locks in Xiaolan Town is expected to exceed 8 million sets in 2024.
