A few days ago, at the construction site of the State Grid Hengyang ±800kv converter station in Quanhu Town, Hengnan County, Hunan Province, State Grid Hunan Electric Power invested in cranes, vacuum machines, lift trucks, dry air generators, and oil filters and other mechanized equipment, using an integrated smart monitoring system for real-time monitoring, and completed the installation of the first main transformer. The main transformer is 11m long, 3.52m wide, 4.9m high, and has a total weight of 438 tons (including oil).
The successful installation of the first main transformer laid a solid foundation for the installation of the remaining 27 converter transformers in the next stage, as well as the subsequent installation of converter valves.
