Viewed from a distance, Donglin Temple looks like it was built on the mountain. It looks majestic, beautiful and brilliant. The ancient temple has a unique shape. This temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty and was originally called Guanyin Hall. Since the temple was built, tens of thousands of pilgrims have come here every year. Exquisite Buddha statues and buildings made of brass can be seen everywhere in the whole temple. In the Yuantong Hall, the central hall weighing 150 tons is made of brass, with a copper bell and a drum tower, and two floors with double eaves on the top of the mountain. The cornices and corners are made entirely of copper. The \”Five Buddha Crown\” on the top of the mountain is 22 meters high and made of copper. The lotus leaves in the golden lotus pond are also made of copper and are not real lotus leaves.

Finally, this is the only temple in the country that enshrines two statues of Shancai Bodhisattva. It can be regarded as the dojo of Shancai Bodhisattva, so entrepreneurs who come to Shanghai can come here to pay their respects first.
